Pythia League

Privacy

What Pythia League stores about you, why it stores it, and how to have it removed. Short on purpose: these are the eight questions worth an answer.

Who runs this

Pythia League is run by Spyros Neofytos, Greece. For anything about your data, write to privacy@pythialeague.com.

What is stored

Your email address, your username, the language you chose, your avatar colour, the picks and coins you play with, the leagues you are in, and your push subscription if you turned reminders on. Nothing else. There is no real money in this app, so there is nothing financial to store.

Why it is stored

To run the leagues you joined. Your email address exists so you can reset your password and, if you asked for them, receive reminders. That is the whole of it.

Where it is kept

In a Supabase database in Frankfurt, Germany. The app itself runs on Railway in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Both are inside the EU.

How long it is kept

Your account and its data stay while the account exists. A league's picks and standings stay for the season they belong to, because they are that season's record. Ask for deletion and all of it goes.

Who else sees it

The members of your leagues see your username and your position. After a round locks they also see the picks you made in it, which is the point of the game. Nobody outside your leagues sees anything. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third party reading any of this.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of everything stored about you, or for all of it to be deleted, by writing to the address above. Either is answered within 30 days. There is no delete button in the app yet, so email is the way to do it for now.

Cookies

Two, and the app needs both. One keeps you signed in. One remembers the language you picked. There are no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies, which is why this app never asks you to accept anything.
